Who doesn’t love oatmeal in the morning, right? Well, oatmeal is one of those foods that can get boring in a hurry, so I love coming up with different ways to get such a great healthy option in that is by no means boring and doesn’t sacrifice flavor.
This particular recipe is for a high protein version with a twist of a fall favorite: apple crisp! Here’s what you’ll need:
🔸2 packets of Better Oats OatFit 100 calorie oatmeal in Cinnamon Roll
🔸170g no sugar added apple pie filling
🔸300g Greek yogurt, 0% fat
🔸1/2 sheet of graham cracker, crumbled
🔸1/4 tsp apple pie spice or cinnamon
🔸1 Tablespoon (15g) speculoos crunchy cookie butter (optional)
- Mix yogurt and about 1 & 3/4 packets of oatmeal together and microwave for 1-2 minutes.
- Take out and top with apple filling, remainder of oatmeal, crushed graham cracker, apple pie spice/cinnamon, then return to microwave for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Top with cookie butter and enjoy! TIP: I actually microwaved mine for an additional 20 seconds or so to let the cookie butter melt down a bit ;).
